Let me remind you that you will need confidence, persistence, and self-worth in order to put some real substance and elbow grease behind your actions to get this locomotive en route to your paradise.
*Remember that I’m in this with you - writing this, reading this, living this day - remembering that Mondays Are Good Days and there is so much damn power in this day, in this mindset.
Your happiness lives within you as you passionately pursue; no matter how large or small the task, no matter the size of the audience, no matter how long you have left to go or how much you’ve accomplished before.
I want you to take up space today.
“Be” confident in those ways: boldly asking, unapologetically telling, standing tall, shooting your shot.
Think about it: You would be so mad if someone told you “you can’t” so why would you ever say that to yourself?
You would never accept that kind of response from a person, so why would you ever believe it coming from YOU?
You know it’s not the truth from them, so it’s not the truth from you.
We can be hard on ourselves and let Lower Self dominate the conversation… or we can be aware: when we hear those words and those thoughts, we stop them.
This blog post has three affirmations to use throughout your day & other mental self-talk practices. I will present the affirmation to you, explain how it helps me and my mindset, and give you examples on how to implement - because that’s the most important: actively making a change to create something better.
I’ve been thinking about a phrase we often say to ourselves when thinking back on the past. We call ourselves out and judgingly remark that we “could’ve been better.”
I mean, yeah. You probably could have been. We all could’ve been better. 2 years ago, yesterday, we’re wrong often. It’s okay. Listen…
I want you to understand that since you now realize that you could have been better, and you now see the bad behavior and the way a better person would have acted.
Because you realize this: you are now better. And that’s an accomplishment. A good thing.
